Atlantic Dental welcomes its newest Hygienist, Katie Noel (Benner). Dedicated to her work, adding Noel will allow Atlantic Dental to meet the dental needs of the community more efficiently.
Before pursuing a career in dental hygiene, she worked as an orthodontic assistant for three years at Tilghman Orthodontics. She then attended the dental hygiene program at Harcum College, were she graduated with honors, earning her title as a registered dental hygienist.
Born and raised in Salisbury, she lives locally with her husband and two miniature dachshunds, Stanley and Eliott.
Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty announced the promotion of Ocean City, West Ocean City and Ocean Pines Branch Manager Sharon Curtiss to area vice president.
Curtiss joined the company in 2015 and has worked in the real estate industry since 2001. In 2020, Curtiss’ role expanded to include managing the company’s two offices in Ocean City, in addition to her role as branch manager of the Ocean Pines office.
Under Curtiss’ leadership, all three offices increased their production levels in units and volume while maintaining the No. 1 spot in market share for the Ocean Pines office in coastal Maryland.
Reid Tingle, president and CEO of Bank of Ocean City along with the Board of Directors, welcomes Jennifer Devan, compliance officer/vice president, as the newest addition to their staff.
Devan joins Bank of Ocean City with 25 years of banking experience. She is a graduate of University of Pittsburgh and most recently served as chief compliance officer at AmeriServ Financial Bank in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
Devan brings with her, a vast array of knowledge in the fields of internal audit, consumer loan operations and underwriting, as well as compliance.
Her professional expertise in the compliance field is evident by her Certified Regulatory Compliance Mangers (CRCM) designation.
In addition, Melissa von Bank has graduated from Commercial Lending School-Foundational from the American Bankers Association.
Von Bank is the AVP/branch manager of Bank of Ocean City’s Fenwick Island, Delaware location.
