Joining AGH

Neurologist Jeremy Gill, MD, will be joining Atlantic General Health System this month to practice alongside Drs. Preeti Yonker and Lawrence Kemp and physician assistant Emily Laustsen in Berlin.

Gill joins AGHS from Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital’s neurosciences division in Charlottesville, Virginia. He received his doctor of medicine from University of Maryland School of Medicine after earning a bachelor’s degree in behavioral neuroscience at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Gill completed his neurology residency at University of Massachusetts Memorial Health Center (UMMHC) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he served as chief resident of neurology from 2008-2009. He then continued his training at UMMHC with a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology.

New WOC café

One Love Smoothie Café, operated by Bishopville resident Francine Graye, opened in August at 12814 Harbor Road in West Ocean City, offering light fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The café features Caribbean and African flavors infused in its fresh offerings. There is a selection of freshly made smoothies to go along with sandwiches, salads and desserts.

Graye comes from a long line of entrepreneurs including her father, Francis, better known as “JOCKO,” the premier disc jockey throughout the Eastern Shore.

In addition, her mother, Elsie, was a cosmetologist who operate a popular hair salon in Bishopville.

The tradition of serving the community continues through this generation.

Joining Graye in this new venture is Solomon Weldabzig from Ethiopia.

A ribbon cutting is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 13 at 11 a.m.

Visit One Love Smoothie Café, which is open five days a week during fall/winter, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
