(May 21, 2021) Baja Amusements will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate 40 years of business, on Thursday, May 27, at 1 p.m.

Celebrations will continue with a Customer Appreciation Party on Saturday May 29, from noon to 4 p.m. On that Saturday, Baja will offer special discounts, plus food and drinks, and giveaways throughout the day.

Baja Amusements is located on Route 50 in West Ocean City, at 12639 Ocean Gateway, Ocean City, Maryland 21842. Both events are open to the public.

“It’s exciting to celebrate 40 years and what better way to kick off this summer than with a party? It’s going to be a fun start to a fantastic summer,” said Valerie Kramer, general manager. “We want to say ‘Thank You’ to all of our loyal customers and valued staff, we couldn’t have done this without you. We hope that everyone comes out to celebrate with us and enjoys go-kart races, food and music, but mainly just come out and have a fun time.”

Family owned and operated since 1981, Baja Amusements began as a dune buggy track at “Stinky Beach” and moved to its current location on Route 50 in 1983. Over the years, Baja Amusements has expanded and currently offers eight go-kart tracks, a 19-hole miniature golf course, two climbing walls, three kiddie rides and a snack bar with an arcade.
