Several Worcester County residents were recently named to the dean’s list at their respective colleges or universities for the fall 2021 semester.
College of William & Mary: Maeve Donahue, Berlin; Carey Hickman, Pocomoke City; and Mohammad Ali, Snow Hill.
In order to achieve dean’s list status, a full-time, degree-seeking undergraduate student must take at least 12 credit hours and earn a 3.6 Quality Point Average during the semester.
Hood College: Samantha Hill (’22) and McKayla Staley (’25), both of Berlin.
The dean’s list recognizes degree-seeking students who completed at least six semester hours of Hood work with at least a 3.5 semester GPA.
Dickinson College: James van Kuilenburg, Berlin, a junior history and women’s, gender & sexuality studies major; Drew Haueisen, Snow Hill, a sophomore quantitative economics and mathematics major.
All students earning a position on the dean’s list must have a grade-point average of 3.7 or above on a 4.0 GPA scale for the semester.
