(Aug. 23, 2019) The proposal for the final two buildings of the Manklin Station Commercial development passed the Technical Review Committee on Wednesday, Aug. 14. The two buildings each consist 6,000 square feet of retail and office space.
The commercial development is located on the south side of Manklin Creek Road and the east side of Ocean Parkway, in Ocean Pines.
According to Jennifer Keener, county zoning administrator, the proposed two buildings will move on to the Planning Commission.
Steven Engel, one of the principles of Vista Design, said that the last two buildings will have a positive economic effect on the area. He added that it will have little traffic impact. Engel hopes construction will begin this fall.
The two buildings will join the already existing development that includes A Bagel And ..., DeNovo’s Trattoria and Creative Compliments.
