Michael Joseph Birmingham III, 67, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on June 11, 2020, in Snow Hill, Maryland.

Born in Baltimore on March 29, 1953, he was the son of the late Michael Birmingham, Jr. and Elinor Readdy.

He lived most of his life in the Baltimore area and also lived for several years in Berlin, Maryland.

Mike also spent many years fishing and relaxing in Islamorada, Florida.

He is survived by his daughter, Christina Auker of Ocean City, Maryland, and his son, Michael Birmingham IV and wife, Katie, of Dagsboro, Delaware.

He was affectionately known as “Poppy Mike” to his six beloved grandchildren: Marley, Lorelei, Sully, Devin, Alex and Jaxson.

He is also survived by his sisters, Sheila Roe of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Ellen Arrington of Hilton Head, South Carolina, and his longtime friend, Dana Marvel of Baltimore.

Mike loved his family dearly and had a heart bigger than most. He knew how to have a good time and made everyone in the room feel special.

He was a past member of the Baltimore Yacht Club and the Ocean City Marlin Club.
