Letter to the Editor

The Berlin Bathtub Races are scheduled for [Friday, July 9], and many other events will be happening in downtown Berlin now that the pandemic restrictions are lifting.

Restrictions or not, we believe spectators at these events need to practice a little common courtesy. Many people stand along the sidewalks and would like to have full views of the events.

Out of respect and courtesy, we wish our fellow spectators would remain in one place once events begin. It is very hard to see if other spectators are constantly walking in front of you rather than staying in one place. Once you decide where to stand, please stay there so others behind you can see the events. Thank you.
