(April 16, 2021) The Stephen Decatur boys’ soccer team netted all three of its goals in the first half and held the Pocomoke Warriors scoreless on Monday in Berlin, in its final home game of the season.

“I thought we played pretty well,” said Decatur Coach Jamie Greenwood. “We moved the ball well. I thought we played smarter than we have been. I was happy with how they played.”

Senior Emmanuel Aroh scored with 17:25 remaining in the first half. Senior Eric Berry tallied the Seahawks’ second goal with 14:45 left on the clock.

Senior Wil Barrett recorded the Berlin squad’s third goal 1:15 before halftime.

Junior goalie Aeddan Jones made five saves in goal for Decatur.

“I thought it was nice for the seniors to go out like that at home,” Greenwood said.
