(Oct. 23, 2020) The Worcester Prep golf team finished the regular season undefeated as the group now prepares for the Oct. 28 Eastern Shore Independent Athletic Conference championship.

“The team played well,” Prep Coach Don McMullen said following Wednesday’s match at Nutters Crossing Golf Club in Salisbury. “I’m pleased with the way the team has performed this year.”

Worcester has come in first place in all six regular-season matches.

The group shot a 194 on Wednesday. The team was led by sophomore Harrison Humes (47), senior Brugh Moore (48), sophomore Griffin Jones (49) and senior captain Kaden Mault (50).

Gunston was runner-up, scoring a 212. The Salisbury School took third with a 216, followed by Salisbury Christian (260).

Worcester will host the conference championship at GlenRiddle Golf Club in Berlin on Wednesday, beginning at 2 p.m.

“They will be practicing at War Admiral at GlenRiddle Golf Club preparing for the ESIAC championship,” McMullen said Wednesday evening. “They need to focus on managing their game through practice sessions over the next six days.”
